“I am because we are.”—Ubuntu

I believe in the utmost importance of relationship with self, friends, family, partners, lovers, community, and the spaces we occupy. Each of these connections influence and inform our well-being.

My intention is to create an authentic, non-judgmental, safe environment in which I can join you on your journey of self-compassion, exploration, restoration, and growth.

I have specialized training and experience in a number of therapeutic modalities and techniques such as: mindfulness, psychodynamic theory, DBT, attachment theory, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care. However, there is no one approach that fits all. You and I will work together to develop a therapeutic relationship that provides you with the support you need to actualize your goals.

I am passionate about living in a world that is safe for all. I strive in my practice to be sensitive to concerns regarding intersectionality, marginalization, and oppression which may include but not limited to: race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, migration status, acculturation, ability, body size, age, social class, and alternative relationship structures.

My work is informed by an anti-oppressive, relational-cultural, sex-positive feminist lens. I believe to understand another person one must include the context of culture. Therapy works best when one feels seen, connected, respected, and heard.

If you feel we might be a good fit, please call or email to schedule a free consultation.
